LHi110 LoRa HAN Interface

LHi110 transports data from electricity meters equipped with a “HAN-port” over LoRaWAN. HAN-port, also known as a P1-port, is required on all new electricity meters installed in the Nordic countries and some other European countries. HAN-port emits meter data at least every 10 seconds which LHi110 converts and transmits over a standard LoRaWAN IoT network. Selection of meter data and statistics calculation is configurable via LoRaWAN downlink to support different usage scenarios. Meter data related to both import and export (production) of electricity are available, as well as active and reactive components.

LHi110 is normally supplied directly from the electricity meter via HAN-port, optionally an internal connector available for external power supply.

Features

Device operations

The LHi110 operates over a standard LoRaWAN network. No on-site configuration is required, simply plug in LHi110 to the smart electricity meter HAN-port and LHi110 will attempt to join the LoRaWAN network. Once joined on the network, periodic reports will be sent containing current electicity meter data, such as meter readings and momentary voltage, current and power data. Power data is further separated into "import" and "export" data to support also data from installations with power producers, such as building with solar panels. A special report profile is available also containing information about the reactive power components, intended for larger industrial installations.

LHi110 can be configured remotely via LoRaWAN downlink at any time. There are no local buttons or settings which can be altered, device contains a very secure key storage and FW encryption preventing any kind of alteration of the transmitted data.
